Sometimes you just need a romantic comedy to refresh your reading slump. Four Day Fling is filled with one awkward heroine, a dashing hero, and some epically hilarious mishaps.
One night stands are supposed to be fun and fleeting; no permanence. But Poppy Wales yo contemplating her beau’s opinion on coming to her sisters wedding…her FOUR DAY wedding. A feat for any couple, I knew it was going to be a fun ride when Adam agrees with a charm and a smile. One big problem the minute he arrives: he’s a famous hockey player and Poppy had no idea she brought an all star in to her hockey loving family’s biggest event.
Now after they have to perpetuate the lie of being a couple, Poppy and Adam are continuously posed with situations where Poppy’s controlling (and downright scary-crazy) mother could catch their lie and write Poppy off. I loved that Adam was quick on his feet at every turn and Poppy’s dads and quick wit bounced right off his. These two WORK. They are so balanced for one another.
Hart impresses with each new romance she releases for fun and delightful heroines who, while fumbling through life, still have independence and fiery disposition. Her heroes are steadfast and steamy. And together these couples are combustible and ignite every page with life, love, and of course laughter. Grab yourself a copy to see if this four day fling could turn into forever…
Four Day Fling, an all-new hilarious and romantic standalone from New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Emma Hart is LIVE!

Imagine this.
Youāre ready to leave after a one-night stand, and youāre figuring out how toāshock horrorāleave your number and ask him to be your fake boyfriend for your sisterās wedding this weekend.
When he wakes up.
Well, that happened to me. And over coffee and omelets, I found myself a date.
Which was how I ended up arriving at the wedding with a guy I knew nothing about.
I didnāt know his last name, or how we met, or how long weād been dating. I didnāt know where he grew up, what heād majored in in college, or how many siblings he had.
I sure as hell didnāt know he was Adam Winters, hotshot hockey player, and not only my fatherās favorite player, but my little nephewās freakinā idol.
Which means Iām in trouble. Big, big trouble.
My mother is suspicious, my sister is bridezilla on crack, and my grandpa will tell anyone whoāll listen about his time in Amsterdamās Red Light District.
Four days.
I have to keep this up for four days, and then Adam and I can return to our regular lives, where we donāt have sex whenever weāre alone, and my family arenāt interrogating him over his intentions with me.
At least, thatās the plan.
And we all know what happens to those.

āReady?ā Adam strolled out of the bedroom, playing with the button on his shorts.
āFor lunch with my mother?ā I turned and stared at him, expressionless. āIām thrilled.ā
He laughed and adjusted the short sleeve of his white shirt. āItās whatāan hour? Then sheāll be back snapping at your sisterās ankles. Surely you can give Rosie a break for sixty whole minutes.ā
āOh no. Iāve done that guilt trip my entire life. Iām not getting it from my fake boyfriend, too.ā I waggled my finger at him before turning back to the mirror to finish my make-up. āAnd yes, I can give her a break, but it doesnāt mean I need to be happy about it.ā
āDo you ever get along?ā
āYes. When Iām in Orlando and sheās in Key West.ā
āI mean when youāre together.ā
āIn the same room together, or having a conversation together?ā
āNow youāre just being awkward, Red.ā
I brushed a final stroke of mascara over each of my eyes, then stopped, wand in hand, and met his eyes in the reflection of the mirror. āGiven how you ended up here, I would have thought you knew that awkward was my default mode.ā
āThat was cute-awkward. This is attitude-awkward.ā
āHow do you know thereās a difference?ā
He pointed at himself. āFour sisters. I grew up with attitude-awkward. I could recognize it blindfolded with hands cuffed behind my back from two hundred miles away.ā
āWow. Someoneās cocky.ā
āI thought we established that the night we met.ā
My cheeks flushed. Damn it. Why did I have to blush like an idiot? Oh, thatās right. I was a redhead and so pale I was a distant relative of Casper the Friendly Ghost, which meant you could see my blushing a mile off.
āYouāre adorable when you blush.ā Adam grinned.
āThank God,ā I drawled. āThat was my life goal. Be adorable. Now, I can get it in neon lights over my bed.ā
