JUNK MAIL – A Kendall Ryan Review

And fate is a fickle lady because that wrong number belongs to his newest client, Peyton. He felt the chemistry through their text but its nothing to the electricity he feels when they meet in person. And both of them end up feeling it. But there’s a line they can’t cross and the temptation is too much for both a them. Josh is determined that he can help Peyton’s business skyrocket all while keeping their bedroom activities a secret.

Peyton has done all she can to build her business up and hasn’t let any man stop her from accomplishing her goals. Having the co-founder of her new venture be her attractive mis-text Romeo is NOT something she planned for. Josh is sexy and confident and Peyton can’t deny herself when he wants to give her the most pleasure she’s had in years. They’ve got instant attraction but they also have amazing chemistry despite then tension of keeping their romance a secret.

Another sexy and passionate fun romance from Kendall Ryan!

Junk Mail, a hilariously sexy standalone by New York Times bestselling author KENDALL RYAN is live and available everywhere.

It all started with a sexy selfie. 🍆

Texted to the wrong number.

Oops.

Not my finest moment—but I have nothing to be ashamed of.

She thought I was no better, and I quote, than the knuckle-dragging douche-bags she was never dating again.

It was a stupid dare from a girl I’d met online, but since she’d given me a fake number, I didn’t feel bad that my interests were suddenly focused elsewhere—on the fiery and sharp-tongued, Peyton that I found myself sparring with over text for the rest of the evening.

The following day, my case of mistaken identity came back to bite me in the banana.

When I strolled into the office, I was introduced to Peyton as the new client I needed to win over. The Peyton , in case you’re not tracking.

And let’s just say she had my full attention.

Brains? Check.

Beauty? Oh yeah.

And the best part? She hated me on sight.

Dear God, do I love a challenge.

Let the games begin.

“Let’s get down to the nuts and bolts of this, shall we?”

Nuts?

Seriously, Hanson? Of all the words in the English language, you choose nuts?

But hey, on the plus side, she hasn’t seen the boys, just their leader.

Even so, I need to keep this meeting above the belt, including my own damn thoughts. I offer Peyton another apologetic smile. Time to get this deal back on track.

“Want to tell me more about your company?”

“I do. I really do.”

Her tone shifts instantly when she mentions her business, making me even more keen to hear her pitch.

I smile. A perfect, professional smile, as I cross my legs and fold my hands in my lap. I’m a motherfucking gentleman, not a junk-shot-sending caveman. “I want to hear all about it, Peyton.”

The only way to get past this mixup is to focus on business.

Not on her pretty face.

Not on those gorgeous eyes.

And definitely not on that dark hair I want to wrap around my fist and yank on it hard.

Four fucking months . . . that’s what’s wrong with my libido. It’s not operating in its normal overdrive. No, today, it’s at fucking warp speed. This is what happens when your own hand becomes your closest companion.

MEET CUTE – A Helena Hunting Review

This story isn’t about the meet cute, but is instead about all the events that transpire years after it occurs. What are the odds that her first day in law school, ready to achieve her dream, Kailyn stumbles upon her childhood crush all grown up. This sparks, from her point of view, a hate/love relationship. They were competitive in law school but one mistake cost her to win the #1spot and put him right at the top. From then on out it was war; so when it turns out she’s the one person assigned to help him with a series familial issue, Kailyn has to wage her head against her heart or risk her future a second time.

Daxton has been through hell; he’s suddenly lost both his parents, is now responsible for his teenage sister, and the one woman who can help him is the one he was obsessed with in college. Dealing with loss is hard enough but a custody battle amidst the grief is especially troubling. So when Kailyn represents the calm within his storm he leans heavily on her. She’s more than a mediator to his legal issues, her humor and strength become something he finds comforting. Finding out how they work as adults and why they lost touch in college is another journey he has to take.

Prepare for all the feels mixed in with Helena’s typical comedy. There may not be as many dirty jokes as readers are used to but Dax’s little sister is full of teenage hormones and sly humor. Along with the sweetness and sass between Dax and Kailyn there’s an easy balance to Meet Cute that makes it easier to handle the grief they go through. I’m impressed with Hunting’s ability to blend the heavy and light themes so well. It’s a dramatic romance but doesn’t leave the reader feeling like they’ve trudged through the mud. There’s closure and happiness tied up in a sexy little package. I’m so glad Hunting is branching out from her hockey genres with these romances!

MeetCute Final Cover.jpgThe New York Times bestselling author of Pucked and The Good Luck Charm delivers a Hollywood happily-ever-after where a famous heartthrob falls for his ultimate fangirl in this sexy standalone romantic comedy.

Talk about an embarrassing introduction. On her first day of law school, Kailyn ran – quite literally – into the actor she crushed on as a teenager, ending with him sprawled on top of her. Mortified to discover the Daxton Hughes was also a student in her class, her embarrassment over their meet-cute quickly turned into a friendship she never expected. Of course, she never saw his betrayal coming either…

Now, eight years later, Dax is in her office asking for legal advice. Despite her anger, Kailyn can’t help feeling sorry for the devastated man who just became sole guardian to his thirteen-year-old sister. But when her boss gets wind of Kailyn’s new celebrity client, there’s even more at stake than Dax’s custody issues: if she gets Dax to work at their firm, she’ll be promoted to partner.

The more time Kailyn spends with Dax and his sister, the more she starts to feel like a family, and the more she realizes the chemistry they had all those years ago is as fresh as ever. But will they be able to forgive the mistakes of the past, or will one betrayal lead to another?

DOWNFALL – A Jay Crownover Cover Review

I never thought Jay would go back to The Point. Rough and wrong, these anti-heroes were and always will be my favorites of Jay’s characters but she had seemingly wrapped them all up in a bow. So when Jay began a new story within The Point my heart was 100% onboard. Solo and Orley are completely new characters in a well-developed world. Out on her own with a small daughter, Orley is in the hardest city. It’s filled with danger, addicts, murder, and all the wrong side of the tracks stereotypes. And six previous books worth of drama. But around every dark corner comes her dark night, Solo. Always there to save her or fix her car, or give her a place to stay; he’s the angel over her shoulder within her own version of hell. But the past she’s running from is now becoming entangled with Solo’s future.

Solo is just that, solo; he works as much as he can in order to take care of his mother. She’s his home and has always been there for him despite the hell they grew up in. He’s got no time for distractions as much as he’d like to help the pretty new redhead and her daughter in his building. He’s an unspoken protector of the lost and when Orley continues to need his help, he can’t help but step in to save her from destruction. Her innocence and unwavering trust in him is breaking down his walls. And the move then trust one another, the faster then fall.

While this book isn’t as dark as the previous Point novels, it’s solely due to how naturally good our hero and heroine are in suck a terrible world. Orley, though she’s young, has nerves of steel and isn’t afraid to do whatever it takes to protect her daughter. Even embracing the savior of the Point. Solo, while tough and a fighter, is there to fight for things that are right and good within the Point. It’s a lighthearted romance within a dark and terrifying world. Prepare for all the feels and all the love!

From New York Times bestselling author Jay Crownover comes DOWNFALL, a sexy, standalone contemporary romance!

Solomon Sanders doesn’t have time to fall in love. Until a stunning, skittish, single mother forces him to pause and recognize just how empty and hollow his busy life has become.

From the start, it’s been ingrained in Solo’s DNA to fight.

Fight for what he believes is right.

Fight for the people he loves.

Fight for the traces of good in a place which tends to be filled with a variety of bad.

Fight for survival, so at some point, his life will quiet down and find a normal pace.

He wasn’t ready for the impact his secretive, shy, obviously out of place new neighbor was going to have on him. And never in a million years was he prepared to fall head over heels for her and her young daughter.

Now, he’s facing the most important, and the hardest fight he’s ever fought… the battle to win Orley’s damaged heart.

Orley Vincent’s heart is full of fear, leaving no space for love. Until a big, brash, brawler of a man forces his way in and makes her realize facing her fears is the only way she can ever be free.

From the start, Orley was groomed to believe she wasn’t good enough.

She wasn’t the perfect daughter. Or student. Or girlfriend.

But, she has always been the best mother she could be to her daughter, Noble.

Keeping Noble safe has always been the one thing she was determined to do, which ironically, is how she ended up on the wrong side of the tracks, living next door to an unlikely hero. Orley’s a woman on the run. She had no idea her frantic sprint was going to land her in the tattooed arms of a man ready to teach her how to fight for herself… and for love.

THE ROOMMATE AGREEMENT – An Emma Hart Review & Excerpt Reveal

Let’s be real here, if you have a best friend of the opposite sex they are one of two things: Your sibling or your crush. In the case of both Shelby and Jay they act like siblings filled with the fighting, name-calling, real-talk, and rough-housing. But both of them want the other in a more intimate way and are in COMPLETE DENIAL. After moving in with her, Jay has become a nuisance to introvert Shelby (#IntrovertForTheWin). He eats her prized snacks, doesn’t clean up after himself, and invited the hoard of his gym buddies over every weekend to take over her living room. But despite all that, she’s undeniable attracted to him and having him walk around in just his basketball shorts is detrimental to her fortitude and her work ethic. Hence, The Roommate Agreement (inspired by both Shelby and Hart’s love of The Big Bang Theory).  Rules set in place to keep her home tidy and her libido in check. But a few glasses of wine sets allllll that ablaze when her inner vixen comes out to confess her feelings to Jay.

Jay is all about his new roomie, she’s his bestie after all. Like the kid sister he’s always had cause they’ve known each other 20+ years. But now that he’s seen her in deadline mode, tiny pajama set mode, and fresh-faced no-makeup mode, there’s a startling change to Jay’s emotions. It’s undeniably attracted to his best friend and he’s just signed on to her lease. Accepting the Roommate Agreement is the least he can do to keep distance between them so he doesn’t cross a line. But what happens when she crosses that line? Oh all bets are off and Jay’s going to kiss her like she’s never been kissed. Now they just have to figure out how two best friends that live together can now enter into the world of dating and learning that side of each other.

Jealousy, drama, humor, embarrassing baby photos. This romance truly has it all. It’s a bit of a slow burn with a teaaaaasing middle, but it so worth the wait my readers. Shelby’s introvert side battling against Jay’s extrovert side is absolutely hysterical. I’ve been there; I get that; it’s so awkward. But these two have the benefit of being best friends who know each other inside and out. Throw in the romance and its 20 years (well less because they were children) of pent up lust and want exploding between them. I loved it so much! I was metaphorically (because e-reader) flipping page after page desperate to find out when these two would finally get their heads out of their butts. Another great win from Hart!

Shelby shut the door with a click and peered over at me. “What are you writing? If it’s permission to use the feather duster as a sex toy, the answer is no. Unless you buy your own, but if you haven’t figured out where the laundry room is yet, I doubt you’ll find where to buy one.”

She was as funny as a car crash, this one.

“Hilarious,” I drawled. “No, I’m making amendments as I go. I added a new rule.”

“You added a new rule?” She raised one dark eyebrow and walked over, hovering over me. “All right, what is it?”

“Decent clothes must be worn. Do you know how many times I wake up early on a morning to open the gym and find you basically in your underwear in the kitchen?”

“Basically in my underwear? Who are you seeing in the kitchen? I wear shorts and a tank top at the very least.”

“Yes, but the shorts barely cover your ass, and you’re sure as hell not wearing a bra.”

She paused, eyes glittering as she said, “And why are you looking at my ass and my boobs?”

That was an excellent question.

“Because there’s nowhere else to look!” I rushed out before my stupid cock could get any ideas. “Look, waking up in the morning can be challenging for a guy.”

She stared at me.

“I don’t need to get up for a coffee with… you know.” I motioned to my groin. “And see you half-clothed.”

She flicked her hair over her shoulder and walked to the kitchen, turning her back to me. “Why does it matter? I’m your best friend. I hardly think your little friend is remotely interested in whether or not I’m wearing a bra.”

Yeah, well, he is.

“Fine. If I have to wake up and see your perky nipples prancing around the kitchen, I’m going to stroll around in my underwear so you can get a good view of my morning glory.”

She spun, lifting up a finger. Her cheeks were flushed, and she had to swallow before she could speak. “My nipples do not prance. They are not horses.”

I grinned.

“Also, I have no desire to have anything to do with your morning erection, much less get a good view of it, thank you very much.”

“Have I told you that you’re cute when you blush?”

“Have I told you that you’d be a cute dead guy?”

I laughed, leaning back on the sofa. “C’mon, Shelbs. We need to respect each other’s privacy. You don’t want to see my cock hard over your breakfast, and I don’t want to see your nipples standing to attention when I make a coffee.”

She sighed. “Why did I ever let you move in again?”

“Because I was going to be homeless and you’re the best friend ever?”

“Mm.”

THE HOOKUP HANDBOOK – A Kendall Ryan Review

Talk about swoon-worthy romance. Kendall Ryan’s feel good romance strikes again with this friend’s little sister trope! Off the heels of her first male escort romance, readers are re-introduced to Case as the owner of the entire escort business. Run out of his home and grown since he become an escort in college to improve his own skills in the bedroom. Filled with attitude and sexy as sin, Case is now also grump as can be due to his main muscle not working so well with the ladies anymore. Tired, worn out, and stressed from trying to write his debut novel on how he came to be, Case is desperate for some administrative help. When one of his lead men, Ryder, offers to let his sister who’s freshly graduated and ready to make her way out into a career to come in and help him out.

Sienna helps more than even she knows. Now she’s begun to stir Case’s lust alongside his brain. He’s writing more often and better pages when she’s around. But the temptation is a bit too much for both of them when Sienna decides to tempt him even further. Reading page after page of his exploits and talents has left her hot and bothered. What’s a girl to do when her boss is a world-class escort with a reputation longer than her student debt. Days, and nights, in Case’s office leads to them both crossing the line into passion; but they decide to keep it a secret from her brother. And it does NOT go well.

Case fears he’s not good enough for Sienna, while she fears that he never wanted anything more than to get over his physical “issue”. A classic romance trope where a simple discussion could force these two back together! I feel as if I say it with every review for Ryan, but her romances are just clean, happy romances (Despite it being about a male escort LOL). There’s no nefarious twist to why the hero and heroine can’t be together. There’s always a HEA and its done so well and beautifully written to make your heart aflutter with happens when the end finally comes. Another hot and fun read to add to your TBR for sure!

My love wand is on a strike.

As bad as that blows, pun unintended, it’s ten times worse for me. I’m a male escort, but not just any escort, I’m the escort. The one with a mile-long waiting list and a pristine reputation that’s very well-deserved.

Only now, I’m on hiatus. Because after years of pleasing women all over the city, my man missile decides to get finicky. And the only woman he wants? Someone I can never have—my best friend’s younger sister, the nerdy and awkwardly adorable Sienna.

She’s working at the agency this summer, keeping me organized, handling paperwork, and most importantly, keeping me on track to finish writing my book about sex and intimacy, which is due to my publisher in thirty days.

She thinks I hate her, that I don’t want her here. The truth is much more twisted. I get hard every time she walks into my office. Her wide blue eyes and pouty mouth drive me wild with desire, and if she stays, I’m not sure how much longer I can stay away from her.

Little Miss Overachiever says she’s here to help? Fine. I’m going to put her nerdy, curvy tush to work.
