OK…do you ever read a book and just WONDER how the HECK you’re going to survive it? Well KF won’t let you down in the finale with This is Beautiful.
One can only assume that you’ve already read This is Dangerous (if not then WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU….GO GET IT!) so the ending left you hopeless, tattered, and begging for a resolution. And boy do we get one!
Reading through Kayla’s struggle with her memory loss was really tough. KF handled it in a really smart way as Kayla is curious about the two years that she lost but she knows that as a person, it’s obviously changed her. Some for good, some for bad. It was tough to see Logan really struggle with the loss of the Kayla HE knew. She needs to re- discover things in her own way but Logan can’t help but try to bring out the girl he fell in love with.
There are multiple points in this book where I was SURE my heart as going to be broken for good. I wanted to kick Logan at times. I wanted to yell at Kayla’s brain. I wanted to punch a certain hoe in her face for being catty and RUDE. But mostly KF had me somehow dreading and loving each turn of the page. There’s a NEED to know how these two can ever find a happy ever after…or not one at all. A wonderfully done finale to a brilliantly planned triple duet. I shall spoil none so you must go get it and find out what happens to Team Layla for yourself!
