Sometimes…daydreams can come true. I had to dive in to the latest romance from Jackson and Shea! Kaylee made a deal with her best friend to attend the hottest movie premiere of the year. Starting none other than Hollywood hottie Paxton Myles; she’s taken aback by how handsome he is in person compared to her dreams (and let’s admit it, her fantasies too). Though she may be a small town girl, Paxton is enameled with her immediately and does all he can to sweep her off her feet while avoiding the dramas of celebrity life and all its chaos.

i really wanted there to be more to Kaylee and Paxton. While there’s romance to spare, there didn’t seem to be much “convincing” to Kaylee get her to enter his famous life. I felt really bad for her and how bossy he seemed to be. I fell that if they had more time, they could’ve worked the “stalker paparazzi” angle a bit more. It was a little unbelievable for me that a woman who lost her job because of a man would willing run into his arms afterward. Disbelief and shortness aside, I could easily see this story being a Lifetime movie to feed into the every day fantasy of falling love with your movie star hero. A quick and steamy romance to add to any speed readers library.
