THE TWO-WEEK ARRANGEMENT – A Kendal Ryan Cover Reveal

He’s a grumpy-pants CEO. She’s a know-it-all intern. Coming this June, the first in an all new series from NYT & USA Today Bestselling author Kendall Ryan, The Two-Week Arrangement!

Dear Sexy AF Intern,

I know you don’t particularly care that I’m the CEO of this company, and you’re just an intern. I also know you’re not impressed by my power or my wealth, and that’s fine.

You think you’ve got me all figured out from working alongside me for two weeks, but you don’t know me. Not really.

You don’t know that I’m a single dad to twin toddlers, or that those two little girls matter more to me than this entire hotel chain.

I’m not interested in starting something deep and meaningful, but what I am interested in is the way your body reacts to mine when we’re in the same room. You probably assume the concentration on my face is work-related, when in reality, I’m figuring out which I want more–to nail you against the wall, or to bend you over my desk.

While you’re too disciplined to act on it, I’m not. And the night you stepped into my limo, all bets were off.

IF I ONLY KNEW – A Corinne Michaels Review

Sweet, sweet Milo. I know that most people wouldn’t believe that Milo Huxley could be sweet at first, but trust me readers, he’ll win you over. He’s lost his father, his mother prefers his brother, and his brother moved to America. To top it all off, he left the London branch in the hands of their cousin and left nothing for Milo. What else is a man that’s stressed supposed to do but take some time off on his own. Been when he comes back, there’s a sassy new brunette in his old office claiming to have his job. If there’s one thing Milo loves more than women, it’s a challenge. Put the two together and he’s ready to win. But Danielle is more than a beautiful face; she’s got wit to match his own and she sees right through is facade.

Danielle has experienced pain that no one should have to. The brutal murder of her husband at the hands of an evil man over a year ago is still affecting her. Add in a temperamental teenager, a sweet boy, and a high stakes new job and Danielle is on an emotional roller coaster. The last thing she needs is her boss’s sexy younger brother coming in to make waves about her taking his position. She knows Milo and his scheming ways so shes prepared for the shark. What she doesn’t expect is the man who lifts her up when her grief gets the best of her and she has to face her husband’s murder in court. In that moment, Milo and Danielle bond quicker than any hero and heroine ever have.

Where Danielle sees Milo’s softer side behind the curtain, Milo falls for the strength he sees in Danielle and her motherhood. Milo yearns for the family dynamic he missed out on growing up and despite losing their father, Danielle and her children sees to keep moving forward. Milo takes pride in Danielle’s ability to push through and fight for those she loves. So much so, that Milo’s fear of commitment flies out the window when he gets the chance to be a part of their family. The self proclaimed playboy business man becomes a one woman family man in a matter of weeks. Danielle brings him back down to earth where he becomes her rock through the toughest of times. Despite beginning in tragedy and chaos, this is definitely one of the lighter romances form Corinne, but don’t let it fool you; its still filled with SO MUCH HEART!

“Corinne Michaels never fails to deliver stories full of heartbreak and healing. If I Only Knew swept me away. A beautiful romance, a story of everlasting friendships, this book is not to be missed.” – Bestselling Author, Devney Perry

If I Only Knew, an all-new heartwarming and sexy standalone romance from New York Times bestselling author Corinne Michaels is live!

IfIOnlyKnew_FrontCover copy.jpg

My life was perfect – until a shocking tragedy pulled the rug out from underneath me.

My children were left without a father. I was without a husband and a provider. Instead of wallowing in my grief, I buried myself in my work at Dovetail Enterprises. Landing the promotion as the CEO’s right hand was exactly what I needed.

Getting saddled with Milo Huxley as an assistant is exactly the opposite.

I can’t stand him.

He’s arrogant, irresponsible, and out for my job. As if that’s not bad enough, he has to be devastatingly sexy, and have a posh English accent that makes me squirm on top of it all. I’ve had enough unpredictability for one lifetime, thank you.

But soon enough, we’re fighting less and laughing more. He’s there for me when no one else is. And those good looks aren’t the only panty-dropping thing about him.

If I only knew what to do about it . . .

WE SHOULDN’T – A Vi Keeland Excerpt Reveal

WeShouldnt_Title

WeShouldnt_FullCover

SYNOPSIS:

Bennett Fox walked into my life on one hell of a crappy Monday morning.

I was late for the first day at my new job—a job I’d now have to compete for even though I’d already worked eight years to earn it, because of an unexpected merger.

While I lugged my belongings up to my new office, a meter maid wrote me a parking summons.

She’d ticketed a long line of cars—except for the Audi parked in front of me, which happened to be the same make and model as mine.

Annoyed, I decided to regift my ticket to the car that had evaded a fine. Chances were, the owner would pay it and be none the wiser.

Except, I accidentally broke the windshield wiper while slipping the ticket onto the car’s window.

Seriously, my day couldn’t get any worse.

Things started to perk up when I ran into a gorgeous man in the elevator. We had one of those brief moments that only happened in movies.

You know the deal…your body lights up, fireworks go off, and the air around you crackles with electricity.

His heated stare left me flush when I stepped off the elevator.

Maybe things here wouldn’t be so bad after all.

Or so I thought.

Until I walked into my new boss’s office and met my competition.

The gorgeous man from the elevator was now my nemesis. His heated stare wasn’t because of any mutual attraction. It was because he’d saw me vandalize his car. And now he couldn’t wait to annihilate his rival.

There’s a fine line between love and hate—and we shouldn’t cross it.

We shouldn’t—but straddling that line could be so much fun.

Figures.

It was the gorgeous guy I’d seen in the elevator. And here I thought we’d had a little spark.

Bennett Fox grinned like he’d already been named my boss and extended his hand. “Welcome to Foster Burnett.”

Ugh. He wasn’t just good looking; he knew it, too.

“That would be Foster, Burnett and Wren, as of a few weeks ago, right?” I iced my subtle reminder that this was now our place of employment with a smile, suddenly thankful my parents had made me wear braces until I was nearly sixteen.

“Of course.” My new nemesis smiled just as brightly. Apparently his parents had sprung for orthodontic care, too.

Bennett Fox was also tall. I once read an article that said the average height of a man in the US was five-foot-nine-and-a-half inches; less than fifteen percent of men stood taller than six feet. Yet the average height of more than sixty-eight percent of Fortune 500 CEOs was over six feet. Subconsciously, we related size to power in more ways than just brawn.

Andrew was six foot two. I’d guess this guy was about the same.

Bennett pulled out the guest chair next to him. “Please, have a seat.”

Tall and with gentlemanly manners. I disliked him already.

During the ensuing twenty-minute pep talk given by Jonas Stern—in which he attempted to convince us we weren’t vying for the same position, but instead forging the way as leaders of the now-largest ad agency in the United States—I stole glances at Bennett Fox.

Shoes: definitely expensive. Conservative, oxford in style, but with a modern edge of topstitching. Ferragamo would be my guess. Big feet, too.

Suit: dark navy, tailored to fit his tall, broad frame. The kind of understated luxury that said he had money, but didn’t need to flaunt it to impress you.

He had one long leg casually crossed over the other knee, as if we were discussing the weather rather than being told everything we’d worked twelve hours a day, six days a week for was suddenly at risk of being in vain.

At one point, Jonas had said something we both agreed with, and we looked at each other, nodding. Given the opportunity for a closer inspection, my eyes roamed his handsome face. Strong jaw, daringly straight, perfect nose—the type of bone structure passed down from generation to generation that was better and more useful than any monetary inheritance. But his eyes were the showstopper: a deep, penetrating green that popped from his smooth, tanned skin. Those were currently staring right at me.

I looked away, returning my attention to Jonas. “So what happens at the end of the ninety-day integration period? Will there be two Creative Directors of West Coast Marketing?”

Jonas looked back and forth between us and sighed. “No. But no one is going to lose his or her job. I was just about to tell Bennett the news. Rob Gatts announced he’ll be retiring in a few months. So there will be a position opening up for a creative director to replace him.”

I had no idea what that meant. But apparently Bennett did.

“So one of us gets shipped off to Dallas to replace Rob in the southwest region?” he asked.

Jonas’s face told me Bennett wouldn’t be happy about the prospect of heading to Texas. “Yes.”

All three of us let that sink in for a moment. The possibility of having to relocate to Texas shifted my mind back into gear, though.

“Who will make the decision?” I asked. “Because obviously you’ve been working with Bennett…”

Jonas shook his head and waved off what I was beginning to question. “Decisions like this—where two senior management positions are being merged into one office—the board will oversee and make the final determination of who gets first pick.”

Bennett was just as confused as me. “The board members don’t work with us on a daily basis.”

“No, they don’t. So they’ve come up with a method of making their decision.”

“Which is?”

“It’ll be based on three major client pitches. You’ll both come up with campaigns on your own and present them. The clients will pick which they like best.”

Bennett looked rattled for the first time. His perfect composure and self-assuredness took a hit as he leaned forward and raked long fingers through his hair.

“You’ve got to be kidding me. More than ten years, and my job here comes down to a few pitches? I’ve landed half-a-billion dollars of ad accounts for this company.”

“I’m sorry, Bennett. I really am. But one of the conditions of the Wren merger was that due consideration be given to the Wren employees in positions that might be eliminated because of duplicity. The deal almost didn’t go through because Mrs. Wren was so insistent that she not sell her husband’s company, only to have the new organization strip away all of Wren’s hard-working employees.”

That made me smile. Mr. Wren was taking care of his employees even after he was gone.

“I’m up for the challenge.” I looked at Bennett, who was clearly pissed off. “May the best woman win.”

He scowled. “You mean man.”

FALLING FOR THE PLAYBOY – A Kennedy Fox Review & Excerpt Reveal

img_2466

It’s a road trip gone naughty! Kennedy Fox continue their Bedtime Reads series with a playboy straight from reader hearts. As the assistant to a renowned romance author, Olivia knows the ins and outs of the business. That includes the sexy and sultry ways of playboy cover model Maverick. She can read him like a book and she’s not going to fall for his usual lines. But when they’re stuck on a two week road trip together, she starts to see another side to him different from the suave man gracing romance covers. But her boss has a strict no fraternizing policy and she can’t risk all the hard work she’s put in to her career.

Maverick doesn’t have a problem with rejection, and riling Olivia up with his flirting actually provides the best entertainment he’s had in a while. She’s straight-laced and prim as can be, but there are moments when she laughs or quips back at him that Maverick sees the fiery woman beneath. He just has to break through her Miss Priss persona and her problem with fraternizing. The more time they spent together to more Maverick begins to see that her order in planning every moment is important to her. This may be his first book tour but he’s impressed with Olivia’s calm demeanor with all the fan craziness and the pressure from her boss.

This was such a fun and sexy read. The covers may say bedtime reads but they don’t mean books that will put you to sleep! Entertaining, witty, and hilarious banter between the heroine and hero makes for a great romance! Maverick may be a playboy but he’s also a good man that dives head first in to love. Olivia is strong and goal oriented but there’s a relief in her journey to find her own dream instead of just working under her bosses thumb. And it doesn’t hurt that Maverick is H-O-T…just sooo worth the wait for Olivia. Loving this new series from KF!

Never trust a man who gets paid to take off his clothes for a living and then uses it as a pick-up line to get girls in bed with him.

That should’ve been enough for me to call in sick that day.

I’ve worked with male cover models like him before and they’re all the same—smooth-talking, sexy as sin, egotistical know-it-alls who think they’re God’s gift to women—all traits I know to steer clear of.

Assisting authors comes with many perks—reading on the job, using my organizing skills on a daily basis, drinking coffee by the gallons—but Maverick Kingston barges into my life and demands more than I can handle.

When we’re forced to road trip across the country together, he pushes every boundary I have and rearranges my thoughts on playing it safe. And when he “accidentally” drops his towel, he makes it very clear what he’s offering and proves he’s packing more than abs of steel under his clothes.

Working with him was brutal, but falling for him was unexpected.

And playing by the rules will be impossible.

Olivia’s POV

“Can I turn off this church music?” Maverick asks thirty minutes into our trip. He leans forward and starts messing with the knob.

“It’s nice driving music,” I argue, swatting his hand away.

“You can’t be serious. This shit is gonna put you to sleep and then we’re going to crash and die. You really want that on your conscious?”

The corner of his lips tilt up just the slightest.

“Guess it wouldn’t matter. I’d be dead.” I flash a smug smile right back at him.

“Oh I see how it is. You look all innocent and smart but deep down you have this morbidness to you.”

I shoot him a look. “You’re the morbid one with all your crashing and dying talk.” I turn my music back on. “Now no more talking about it because if I don’t get you to these events on time, Rachel will actually kill me.”

“Why you so scared of her anyway? I could fit her in my pocket. She looks harmless enough.”

Glancing at him, I try to focus on the road and shake my head. “You know she’s anything but harmless.”

He chuckles, shaking his head. “Yeah, you’re right. She’s not a firecracker like you though.”

“I’m not even sure what that means, but you can’t label me when you just met me.”

“Oh, like you haven’t labeled me already?”

“I know your kind. I’ve heard plenty about you to form an opinion,” I tell him with purpose.

“God, you’re so hypocritical. You think you’re the first prissy, stick-up-her-ass assistant I’ve met? Doesn’t mean I know you just like it doesn’t mean you know me.

He kinda has a point, but I don’t tell him that. His ego is already taking up all the space in the car.

Ignoring his comment, I focus on driving. We’re in heavy traffic and I’m not used to eight lane highways.

“You better get over,” he says.

“I’m trying.” I look over my shoulder, searching for a spot to move into.

“Might wanna try the blinker. I heard it’s a signal for turning or moving over.”

I sigh and put it on. He’s distracting me.

“Stay quiet so I can focus.”

His chuckles are the last thing I hear from him as I attempt to merge across the lanes. Finally, I make it and we coast down the highway in silence until we’re leaving the city.

“When are we stopping for food?” He speaks up for the first time in hours. I look over at him and see he’s sticking his lower lip, making a pouty face. “I’m shriveling to nothing over here.” He slightly lifts his shirt up and pats his ridiculously cut stomach.

His eyes meet mine, and I quickly look away although he saw me staring. Swallowing, I look at the GPS to see how much further until our first stop.

“We have about an hour left,” I tell him. “Think you’ll manage to stay alive for that long?”

He groans, loudly and it makes me laugh. I quickly catch myself and stop.

“You have a nice laugh. It’s a pleasant change from your short fuse and snarl.”

“I don’t snarl!” I argue. “I just like having a plan and sticking to it.”

He noticeably rolls his eyes. “Okay, Miss Priss. Letting your hair down won’t kill ya.”

“No, but your arrogant, self-absorbed attitude just might,” I throw at him, holding back a smirk.

“Well, I think that’s debatable. Most of the women I date think it’s charming.”

A loud snort bursts out of me, and I’m unable to keep in the laughter this time. “I think that says more about who you’re dating than anything. They must be desperate.”

“Damn, what a burn.” He chuckles. “Adding hostile to your personality resume.”

I inhale a deep breath, realizing that was a really mean thing to say. “Okay, sorry. That wasn’t nice. But I’m not taking back what I said about you. You’re arrogant and there’s no denying that”

“Oh well then thanks, I guess.” He smirks. “You say it like being arrogant is a bad thing though. In my profession, I kinda have to be. I’m constantly selling myself to photographers and showing them I’m worthy of being in their magazines and advertisements. If I don’t act confident and prove I’m the best guy for the gig, I’ll lose it to the thousands of other people pursuing the job.”

I think about his words for a minute. “Okay, well I can certainly understand that. But I think you’re just naturally that way.” I shrug, biting down on my lower lip so he doesn’t see right through me. He has every right to be confident, there’s no doubt about that. He’s got it all—the body, the face, the perfect white teeth and smile. His abs are plastered all over Rachel’s covers and book promo graphics. He even has that annoying muscular V that trails from his hips to down below his waistline. Annoyingly sexy. “However, that doesn’t mean you can’t be humble in other aspects of your life.”

“That’s a pretty big accustation for someone you just met. How do you know I’m not? You haven’t been around me long enough to know anything about me. Don’t you think?”

Damn. He’s right. “Fine. Prove me wrong then.”

Or maybe both since she turns out to be on of his father’s final meetings; she’s supposed to design his new lofts. Determined to break her rule of not sleeping with clients, Callum pushes the envelope when it comes time to sign a contract of business. He wants more than one night and the more time he spends with the spitfire, he thinks he may want forever.

If you think you know just how this story is going to go, you’re wrong. Nicole may be the ballsy and sexually experimental one of the group but her heart is locked up tighter than Fort Knox. Callum not only possesses all her weaknesses (powerful, commanding, BRITISH) he also understands Nicole better than anyone has. Her defensive mechanism is to be brash and say whatever may be on her mind and Callum is more than prepared to take her barbs and throw them right back. Callum is just as outspoken as Nicole and will do whatever it takes to win her heart but even he has a secret that will blow readers away. Another powerful and moving romance from Michaels added to to my 5 star reads!

NotUntilYou_FrontCover

I have two rules in life:
1. No relationships, falling in love or attachments.
2. No sleeping with clients of my interior design firm.

Since the last guy turned out to be married, they’ve been easy to follow.

Until him.

Callum Huxley is a ridiculously sexy Brit, and the connection we have the moment our eyes lock scares the ever-loving hell out of me. Thank God I came to my senses before going back to his hotel where I would’ve ended up naked, panting, and unable to forget him.

Thinking I walked away from that night unscathed was stupid. Sure enough, at the biggest meeting of my career waits the CEO of Dovetail Enterprises—him. It might be the most embarrassing moment of my professional life. And breaking my no-client rule might just be the hottest moment of my personal life.

Learning to trust has never felt so good, but falling has never hurt so bad.
