#LITFULREADS – September Unboxing

Time for another (quick) book box review! The September Beautiful Reads box was crazy romantic!

A STUNNING Gone With the Wind (what could BE more romantic?!) metal bookmark from Authored Adornments. I’ve seen them all over Instagram and their pieces are just works of beauty. They have their own subscription box as well!

The Melting Library shared their Belissima candle with smells heavenly. I have a lot of their candles in my favorites and this little tin is the perfect size.

The themed book this month is Roman Crazy by Alice Clayton and Nina Bocci (with a signed book plate that I unfortunately did NOT photograph). Honestly, this doesn’t seem up my alley but I may eventually one day give it a shot. Check it out on Goodreads. The story sounds cute but a little out of my realm of typical romance novels. Good for those craving an out of town romantic whirlwind!

#LITFULREADS – August 2016

Whooo lordy! I was so excited when Appraising Pages announced they were releasing a romance themed subscription box! I patiently waited and waited for them to ship out and IT WAS WORTH IT! BEAULITFULREADS IS HERE!

First of all COLLEEN HOOVER‘S IT ENDS WITH US! I hadn’t bought the book yet as I have so many of her books in my to-be-read pile and didn’t want to start in a weird place. My best girl has been persuading me for a long time to get in to her and let me say… if her writing is anything like her social media persona (and her fans reactions to her books)… I am in for a WILD ride. I have been seeing this book everywhere. And I’m stoked she’s mine! Also, hello, look at that gorgeous cover. It’s even better in person.

Cherry Pit Crafts‘s Harry Potter AMORTENTIA POTION Bubble Bath is so adorable. Any Potterhead will appreciate this lovely potion for their bath. I know I’ll be using it soon as it smells divine!

Doodles by Christina’s romance inspired mug is also an instant fave! The black and grey drawing depicting the phrase “Romance Isn’t Dead” is classic. As a huge reader and supporter of romance novels this baby will be proudly displayed (and probably used to house some of the bookmark collection) in the library! (That has yet to be put together… #MovingIsTimeConsuming). Be sure to check out her other art (psst…there’s some Colleen Hoover book inspired ones).

Last but not least: With this box’s release, Beaulitful Reads was able to donate $500 to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence. As a survivor, this made my heart ache with joy to know that readers and book lovers were able to lend a helping hand. Purchasers of the August box received two beautiful Brave & Bold postcards.
