You not only have the chance to learn these characters as adults and learn glimpses of their past through their now adult eyes. But Evans shows you their thoughts and memories in flashbacks to moments that truly impact their core character definition.
This story may have been a second chance romance but there’s definitely a sprinkle of forbidden romance on top. Aaric has a way of convincingly trying to persuade Bryn to be with him all while pushing her to be the best “her” she can be in her business. His faith in her and them is just beautiful! I can’t wait for more!!
