MISTER TONIGHT – A Kendall Ryan Review

phonto-31

Every time I read a new Kendall Ryan romance I’m reminded why I love her stories so much. Always fun and always quick to read, her romances are filled with light-hardheartedness and easy romances that will make you swoon on every page. Mister Tonight is no different and brings another trope to her romance repertoire.  A night out for her 30th birthday turns into some hilarious one-night stand action for Kate. Hunter is hot, charming, and knows what to do with his hands…except apparently locking the door when his 4 year old daughter walks in on their *ahem* adult moment. Laugh it up as they scramble to hide away and explain what’s going on and Kate books it out the door!

Obviously mortified and hoping she can move on, Kate looks forward to moving in to her new apartment…only its Hunter’s apartment! Hello awkward! As they try to change their relationship from one-night-stand to landlord/renter, there are some cute and funny moments as they navigate. Add in the adorable little girl and the things kids can say and this whole story is filled with precious moments. Our couple are literally the boy and girl next door; one afraid to commit, the other wanting more when he thought he’d never find it.

Once again, Ryan proves that characters that flow well and have chemistry result in fabulous stories. Hunter and Kate were obviously so attracted to one another. I found myself laughing at how clueless they could be sometimes towards one another. Another feel good romance to add to the books! You need a palate cleanser romance that just makes you feel giddy, Mister Tonight is it!

From New York Times bestselling author Kendall Ryan comes a standalone romance about a swoony single dad and the new neighbor he falls for.

Last night was the most embarrassing night of my life.

I was THAT girl.

You know, the highly intoxicated chick celebrating her thirtieth with her two best friends—the ones who are happily married. And the more I drank, the more I wanted to do something reckless to celebrate.

By reckless, I meant the sexy and alluring man dressed in a business suit standing near the bar. You know his type—tall, dark, and handsome. I was sure he was out of my league, but I’d had just enough alcohol that things like that no longer seemed to matter. I’m not fat, mind you, but you can tell I like French fries, so there’s that.

He took me home and I enjoyed the hottest birthday sex of my life, well until it came to a screeching, and rather unwelcome halt.

There’s nothing quite like being interrupted mid-ride with a little voice asking:

“What are you doing to my daddy?”

Just kill me now…… or so I thought.

Come to find out the man I rode like a bull at the rodeo is my new landlord.
